I still can't celebrate this win, not with the injuries and knowing that FSU is a (jet lagged) mess and seeing Stanford nearly give the game away in the fourth quarter.
(I dare you to watch Mike Norvell's presser after the game. I'm not sure I've ever seen a person in front of a microphone look so miserable.)
If fans really stormed the field, that's a bit embarassing for Stanford. Oh yeah, the Stanford clock operator should be fired. You have to know the rules and stop the clock. I guess the argument is that the ref blew the whistle--allowing FSU to get set---because the clock stood at double zeroes for more than a bit, but I think the replay shows the clock actually had two seconds on it when the refs stepped in.
I just hope the players who left the field because of injury are able to make a full recovery.
If we must remember this game, the "Technical Difficulties" game is fairly apt.
