also, whose idea was it to give Stanford t-shirts with jersey #29 to the incoming freshmen?  cause i think that was a great idea.

I believe Howard Wolf said “some rich alum decided to donate the #29 jerseys to all freshmen who wanted them” or something to that effect. And I agree it was a great idea (more power to him for being able to execute said great idea).

thanks for that.  a good way to build excitement for a program that just might have a bright future.
