Mixed feelings on hit by Leigber. He wasn’t even in frame when Castellanos started his slide. Granted, that's just a frame on video but it looks like Leigber had a few of yards to pull up and while he's not a blazer, he's moving. Definitely targeting by rule. Castellanos is currently in concussion protocol. Leigber will miss the first half of Miami probably running all over his teammates.
I didn't play football at this level, but my ex-combat Marine played DB in college. He said it was 'dirty' and most guys can recognize the slide in real time and not dive to hit the runner. Leigber hit where Castellanos was, not where he was going. Late. If he doesn't dive, that wouldn't have been as bad. Glad there wasn't a brawl. Some Noles were ready to tear Leigber a new one.
