“Dirty” to me means intentionally trying to hit him late and/or injure him. Just my definition. Based on his reaction, it seems he immediately regretted it. I feel confident he was being instinctual to make a play and didn’t have ill intent.
This is not excusing the action. Clearly, better players would have pulled up as it was egregiously late. But I don’t consider it dirty.
