Or maybe because it was pretty clear that, if Louisville hadn’t done a 3d string line change substitution with about 2 minutes to go, the margin of victory probably would have been 10+ more than it was.

Take 10+ more as you will, but it was 79-53 with 2:29 left when UL called timeout to get the scrubs in. Stanford picked up +8 over that last short stretch to make it a little bit respectable.
It’s nice the team kept playing and the third quarter was better, but doing it in a close game is much different from doing it for 1 quarter while down by a high teens score.
Without Agara, they just don’t have the talent and depth to do much more. Cut the turnovers in half tonight and we still lose by 10+.
