Do we really think that the coaches are not spending time in practice going over how to screen and practicing plays off screens?  That seems… unlikely.  Fair enough that the screens are not as effective as they could be and that is frustrating as a fan, but from public comments, practice time is very finite and scheduled to the minute.  Thus, spending more time on screening necessarily means spending less time on something else.
