I believe that the first teamers were Monk Moscript and Bobby Grayson. Bones Hamilton second team.

Incidentally in those pre T Formation days the blocking back was often referred to as a QB. Frank Alustiza was the starter at that position for the three Rose Bowls. Hogan matched that in three of his four years.

Second, you were closer the first time, Phogge! I admit it was a bit of a trick question. John Macaulay was indeed the starting center (for three years). But Mike Teeuws was the freshman long snapper who snapped it to holder John Elway (also a freshman) for kicker Ken Naber. The son of Mike Teeuws, now Mike Tevis, is J.H. Tevis, a sack-master from Menlo who is part of the 2018 Berkeley football recruiting class!
