I appreciate the value of coach tenure at Stanford since player recruiting is so different. I also appreciate that the transfer portal has the potential to leave the basketball roster well below capacity for a season, even two seasons.
Still, at this point Haase and Muir must go. Haase because his teams don't improve over the season, and normally lose a lot in March. That's not the sign of a good college basketball coach. Great recruiting? Maybe. Great coaching? Sorry, no
And if it takes several seasons for an athletic director to identify the Haase pattern, then that AD needs to go too.
Don't even get me started on Madsen.
