Partly due to the numbers above, I was disappointed not to see Bosgana get more minutes yesterday.
Bosgana seems to have developed very well. Maybe her style is just flashier but she seems to have a nose for the ball. I think she deserves to be in the rotation but we are just so deep. She is much more mobile than Demetre, for example. It's going to be very hard to keep everybody happy in terms of playing time this year.
I also liked what I saw of Prechtel. This deep rotation lets her come in as a shooter first and a post second, and that fits her game.
This game was an eye-opener in some ways. Granted, the competition was not the highest level, but we didn't really miss Agnes' defense in the rotation, for example. I think the starting lineup was the right one, but maybe that was more dictated by matchups than anything else.
This should be a fun year!
