Ashton Daniels is one of the most exasperating Stanford QBs ever, right up there with Mike Cordova, Chris Lewis, TC Ostrander. Occasional wow plays and flashes of brilliance, interrupted by flabbergasting mistakes.

I think you could throw Scott Frost in there too.
Excellent runner, hit or miss passer.
I remember one run he made against Oregon in which just about every Duck defender had a shot at him and missed him.
I also remember Big Game that year when he had a receiver wide open in the Kal end zone. A touchdown there would have probably won the game for us.
Frost threw the ball five feet over the receiver's head.
