Lack of transparency just leads to more speciation. I understand player privacy but lots of teams disclose player injuries and timeline or updates. It’s not forbidden  It seems so stupid no one wants to comment on Lepolo. I assume we won’t see her again the rest of the year as the article kind of alludes to.

FERPA does forbid it, unless the student consents.  I presume most athletes sign waivers of some kind--perhaps blanket waivers, but perhaps Lepolo doesn't want the details discussed.
