Here is the latest (Monday morning) bracketology from ESPN's Charlie Creme:

He projects Stanford as one of the "next 4 out" (more precisely, the 6th team out), so I think the analysis by 81 & MT looks pretty accurate.  That is, the NCAA tourney seems pretty unlikely for Stanford without at least 3 ACC tourney wins (obviously this is also dependent on how other bubble teams perform in their conference tournaments & if any dark horse teams win their tournament to claim an automatic bid) & a WBIT bid seems pretty likely.  The WBIT (like the men's NIT) uses campus sites for the first 3 rounds, based on seeding.  So the good news with that tournament is a chance for more games at Maples, as well as a more realistic shot at a deeper run & potential valuable experience for a young team.

According to Creme's NCAA tourney bracketology projections:
-the last 4 byes are Oregon, Indiana, Nebraska, & Iowa State;
-the last 4 in are Washington, Minnesota, Princeton, & Harvard;
-the first 4 out are Virginia Tech, Arizona, Marquette, & Saint Joseph's;
-the next 4 out are George Mason, Stanford, Murray State, & Seton Hall.

So there is your guide for who to root against this week.
