And Brink. Brink's decision to go pro was not solely about the $76,000 WNBA salary. But keeping Iriafen, Brink, and Betts on the same team was never going to work. Would have been nice if at least one of them stuck around to be on this year's roster, but it was not to be.

People forget that the 2021 team may have been the best defensive team in Tara's 38 years at Stanford:
8th in the country in scoring defense
2nd in the country in FG % defense
13th in the country in rebounding margin
That team was elite defensively by any measure.
Good point. Measured by opponent's points scored, 20-21 was the second best defense in Stanford history, at 53.7 ppg. The best was 2012-13 at 51.9, with Chiney, Amber Orrange, Sara James, Taylor Greenfield, Bonnie Samuelson, Toni Kokenis, Mikaela Ruef, and Joslyn Tinkle.
