During the Notre Dame game they showed an interview with Micah Shrewsberry and he said there was no Christmas in his house because of the IPFW home loss. We certainly didn't do ourselves any favors but Notre Dame was absolutely berserk on defense. In a way, it's a shame Notre Dame lost to IPFW because if Notre Dame had beaten IPFW, Stanford wouldn't have had to play the Notre Dame team that lost to IPFW.
By the same token, it's a shame Stanford lost to Notre Dame because if Stanford had beaten Notre Dame, Louisville wouldn't have had to play the Stanford team that lost to Notre Dame.
