Nice to see us get to the FT line a ton in this first quarter and make them. Not sure if we are being super aggressive offensively or FGCU is playing overly aggressive defensively but keeping us in the game with our poor shooting so far.
Brink gets a foul and Betts comes in. Prechtel may be out for the game after being elbowed by South Carolina. Tara is finding personnel to guard the three--FGCU hit 4 treys in early minutes, but we have controlled them since switching personnel.

Yes, FGCU can shoot the 3 ball at all positions which is a tough matchup but they also don't have the size to matchup with us on the other end so works both ways. Only 6 paint points so far. We need to get the ball inside a little more.

We lead 21-19 after the first quarter. We shot poorly. After FGCU hit 4 treys, they did not hit another, and we went on a big run to regain the lead. FGCU has two starters in foul trouble. We, on the other hand, continue to turn the ball over. 6 turnovers in 1 quarter.

I'm pretty sure that is the most points scored against us in a quarter (19). Four made threes will do that to you.

Livestats have FGCU 2 points lower than the announcer has them. I thought it was just the lag, but it is not. There is a two point disagreement.

Livestats has us ahead at the half 41-37. ESPN boxscore has us ahead at the half 41-35. The announcer has it at 41-37. I wonder what the score really is.

Haley is shooting 7-11 (63.6%), so I wouldn't call that pathetic. However, I prefer when we move the ball around more and score with assists rather than one-on-one (or two).
