I understand coaches are critical, but adding coaches and assistant coaches to the list feels wrong.
Let's start with the obvious problem...coaches don't get medals.
Next I presume most of the coaches on this list did not attend that school.  (I know insert UNC jokes here)
And finally, especially for the assistant coach group, they could leave their current employer at any time.

It is still nice to have a full list and there is really no doubt that both Stanford and Cal alums will win more medals than USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington alums combined.   

FWIW - Earlier this week USC's athletic site stopped featuring links to their 2024 medal count.   The page is still active, but you have to do quite a bit to find it now.  LOL!

WWP with a very very tough 5-4 win over Hungary in the quarterfinals. 2 of the US goals were scored in 6-on-4 situations. Defense was tight and tough on both sides. Steffens and Roemer among the scorers for the US. Next up is Australia in the semis on Thursday.

Thanks for the report from the Paris alumni event, Fullmetal! A couple LSJU classmates of mine were there too and they thought A. Luck said USC had raised $ 350 K for its Big10 transition fund, not $ 350 MM? either way it's an impressive amount that LSJU should strive to meet or beat (esp the $ 350 MM!).

Udodi won his "repechage" 200 m race today by a mere 2/100th of a second (20.51), and thereby advances to tomorrow's semi-finals! Looks like he's in heat 3 of the semi-finals. He's capable of much faster times than he's shown so far.

As for coverage, last night they shared Gabby Thomas's Harvard story as well as Mondo's LSU story, but said nothing about Valerie Allman's Stanford background in the story between Thomas and Mondo??   Are we starting to see a backlash?
