By the way, to get an idea of how insane the World Series run differential was, you need to go down to the 49th most lopsided run differential in a World Series to find another team to score more runs than the other in a losing effort (1996, where the Atlanta Braves outscored the Yankees by an aggregate of 26-18 but lost in 6 games).
Follow on, which World Series winning team had the worst regular season run differential (it was negative).
