Yes you're correct. Good pull and sound reasoning. You get 1/2 credit. What was the year?

George Yardley?
George Yardley, Newport Harbor HS '46, Stanford '50, 7th overall pick in 1950 draft, was an eight-time NBA All Star. Scored 2001 points in 1957/8, a 72 game season, so he averaged 27.8 ppg. Also averaged 10.5 prg as a 6'5" small forward, and that was with 7'0" center, Walter Dukes.
George is still in Top 100 in both career ppg (19.2) and career rpg (9.6), #92 and #96 respectively.
That great year, Yardley played for the Detroit Pistons. 2nd best scorer was long time coach Gene Shue, Dick Maguire was 6th man, and Nate "Sweetwater" Clifton was 7th man.

His first year in the NBA was the 1953/54 season, at the age of 25. He was drafted into the NBA in the 1950 draft, played a year of AAU ball, served in the Navy for two years, then went to the NBA.

Albert played in Canada. Don’t recall for who. I do recall my mom telling me. She knew Albert at Stanford
New one. I think we could all guess that Bob Feller had the most starts as a pitching teenager since 1900. However most teen starts was a Giant at 5 post 1950 and a future Giant at 11 who were they ?

Mike McCormick. Either 5 or 11.
Albert played for the Galgary Stampeders.
Actually Braden Beck was an end and a Lefty placekicker.
What new rule was the vehicle that caused Stanford to lose the 1958 Big Game?

Two point conversion: Cal 16 Stanford 15.
I believe Cal scored 2 TD’s and converted 2 two point conversions and Stanford scored 2 TD’s (with no conversions) and an FG.

Good job Giants. Skip Face stopped on a pitchout by the Bears in the 4th Q.
